On Thursday June 5, 2014 which is celebrated as World Environment Day all around the globe, the leading heavy mineral mining company in India, VV Minerals conducted a sapling planting event around our factory premises. In a conscious effort of conserving and protecting the environment this year, VV Minerals, adopted the method of afforestation as a sustainable effort in conducting their business activities.
The main motive of celebrating World Environment Day was to reduce, reuse, recycle and refuse unwanted things that can harm the environment. As a gesture of showing concern towards the environment, the company encouraged their employees in various establishments of VV Minerals, India, to plant saplings in the company premises.
VV Mineral cares for environment by using sea water usage, saving CO2 by adopting sun drying, refilling of used sand, reclamation etc. The activity was conducted at V Vtitanium Private limited, VV Mineral- Aathoor factory, Transworld Garnet India – tuticorin. All the employees and the District Environmental Engineer and the Assistant Environment Engineer were present at the scene.
VV Mineral India is largest heavy mineral mining, Manufacturer and Exporter of heavy minerals. They deal with zircon mining, garnet mining and titanium ores like rutile mining and ilmenite mining. VV Minerals has been active in this industry for two decades now. It is owned by Mr. S. Vaikundarajan and the other eminent members of the management in VV Minerals also include, Mr. J Muthurajan, Mr. V. Subramanian, and Mr. Jegatheesan.
