Established in 1989, VV Mineral is a heavy mineral mining industry based out of the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, headquartered in Tisaiyanvilai. Besides being India’s largest manufacturer and exporter of garnet, it also manufactures mineral products like Zircon, Rutile and Illmenite, which make it India’s number 1 mining company and number 2 globally.

VV Mineral has a team of trusted board of Directors including Mr. S Vaikundarajan, the Chairman and Managing Director, who is a renowned industrialist from Kanyakumari. Mr. S. Jegatheesan , Mr. V. Subramanian and Mr. J Muthurajan are the other Managing Directors of the company. They put their combined efforts to run a fully integrated state-of-the-art mining mineral separation plant in Tamil Nadu.

VV Minerals specialize in both traditional and mechanized mining processes. Recently, the Chairman, Mr. Vaikundarajan received an award on behalf of the company for the being the top exporter in the country. The award was presented by the Union minister of state for commerce and industries, Mr. Sudarsana Natchiappan.

In December 2013, the Honorable Minister of Mines, Mrs. Galla Aruna Kumari, awarded VV Mineral recognizing it as the ‘Star of Industry’. This award was received by Mr. V Subramanian on behalf of the company.
